FAQ
Wondering how PEMF therapy works or if it’s right for you? You’re not alone. Here are the most common questions I receive from new clients.
Frequently Asked PEMF Therapy Questions
What is PEMF therapy?
PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. It gently stimulates your body’s cells using low-frequency electromagnetic waves, helping them recharge and repair — like giving your body a natural boost from the inside out. It’s safe, non-invasive, and deeply relaxing.
Is PEMF therapy safe?
Yes. PEMF therapy is widely used across Europe and the US, including by NASA, athletes, and wellness clinics. It’s non-invasive, drug-free, and safe for most people. Sessions are gentle, and many clients find them calming or energising.
What does a session feel like?
Most people feel a soft pulsing or mild warmth where the therapy is applied. Some feel nothing at all during the session — but notice results afterwards, like reduced pain, more energy, or better sleep.
How long is each session?
Each session lasts around 45 minutes, including setup. I bring everything needed — you just need a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
How do I prepare myself?
Wear comfortable clothes and choose a quiet spot in your home. It is important that you are hydrated before, during and after a session. Hydration aids the body in the expulsion of toxins and is integral in the effectiveness of PEMF. Please also remove all metal jewelry as it may become heated.
I’ll handle the rest.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your condition and how your body responds.
-
Some people feel a difference after just 1–2 sessions
-
Chronic conditions often respond best to 3–6 sessions
We’ll always go at your pace — no pressure or upselling.
Who should not use PEMF therapy?
PEMF is not recommended if you:
-
Have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device
-
Are pregnant
-
Have an open wound or active cancer diagnosis
I’ll always check suitability during our first chat.
Are there any side effects?
Most people feel relaxed and recharged afterwards. Occasionally, you may experience mild fatigue or a “detox” sensation — this is normal and usually passes quickly.
Will this replace my medication?
No — PEMF is a supportive wellness therapy, not a replacement for medical care. Many people use it alongside other treatments, but you should never stop medication without consulting your doctor.
Can you guarantee results?
Every body is different. I’ve seen amazing transformations — but results vary. What I can promise is honest care, gentle support, and a safe space for your body to do what it does best: heal itself.
